Description: Levetiracetam GOLEVET IV is a sterile anticonvulsant solution for injection containing Levetiracetam 100mg/mL (500mg/5mL). It is supplied in vials (5mL) x 10’s per box and is intended for intravenous administration when oral therapy is not feasible. Levetiracetam acts by modulating neuronal activity to help stabilize electrical activity in the brain.
Uses:
Treatment of partial-onset seizures in adults and pediatric patients
Management of myoclonic seizures
Treatment of primary generalized tonic-clonic seizures
Used as an alternative when oral levetiracetam cannot be administered
