FORMULATION: Each mL contains: Zinc Sulfate Monohydrate, USP … 27.5 mg (equivalent to elemental zinc) 10 mg
DOSAGE AND MODE OF ADMINISTRATION: In deficiency states up to 50 mg elemental zinc three times daily, preferably after meals. Children: more than 6 months – 2 mL; less than 6 months – 1 ml. As nutritional supplement Children: 1-3 years old: 0.5 mL; 6-11 months: 0.5 mL. Or as prescribed by the physician.
INDICATIONS: Used in the prevention and treatment of zinc-related deficiency conditions.
PRECAUTIONS: Prolonged administration of high doses of zinc supplements orally leads to copper deficiency with associated sideroblastic anaemia and neutropenia.
