STAGMET contains Sitagliptin (as Phosphate) 50mg and Metformin Hydrochloride 500mg, a combination antidiabetic medication used to help control blood sugar levels in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus. It works by improving the body’s response to insulin, reducing glucose production in the liver, and helping regulate blood sugar levels throughout the day.

Uses:
STAGMET is used as an adjunct to diet and exercise for the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus. It helps improve glycemic control, lower blood glucose levels, and reduce the risk of diabetes-related complications when taken as prescribed by a physician. It is not indicated for the treatment of type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis.
