Salbutamol SALBUMIN 100mcg/dose (200 doses per container) AMB 1 Aluminum Canister
FORMULATION: Each metered dose contains: Salbutamol (as Sulfate).100 mcg
INDICATIONS: For the management of reversible airways obstruction, as in asthma and in some patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
CONTRAINDICATIONS: There are no known contraindica-tions but Salbutamol should be administered cautiously to patients suffering from thyrotoxicosis.
Salbutamol and beta-blocking drugs such as propranolol should not usually be prescribed together.
Salbutamol inhaler is used for the rapid relief and prevention of bronchospasm
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION: For the relief of acute bronchospasm, 1 or 2 inhalations of salbutamol 100 micrograms may be given as required, up to 4 times daily. 2 inhalations may also be given just before exertion for the prophylaxis of exercise-induced bronchospasm.
