Description

Rosubolic-10 (Rosuvastatin 10 mg Film-Coated Tablet) is a lipid-lowering medication that belongs to the class of HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors, commonly known as statins.

It works by inhibiting the enzyme HMG-CoA reductase, which is responsible for cholesterol synthesis in the liver. This results in lower LDL (“bad” cholesterol) and triglyceride levels while increasing HDL (“good” cholesterol) in the blood.

Rosuvastatin is used for the management of high cholesterol, prevention of heart disease, and reduction of stroke and heart attack risk, especially in patients with risk factors such as diabetes or hypertension.
