Oxytocin GYNE-TOCIN 10iu/mL 1mL Ampoules 10’s

FORMULATION: Each ml contains Oxytocin (Synthetic) 10 Lu. With preservatives Chlorobutanol Anhydrous 4.5 mg

INDICATION: Oxytocin is used during the late stage of pregnancy to induce labor contraction in case of post maturity, premature rupture of membranes or pre-eclampsia.

It can also be used during pregnancy to test the heartbeat of fetus; as well as to remove the afterbirth (placenta), management of missed and incomplete abortion, to control bleeding of the womb when undergo caesarean procedure and postpartum hemorrhage in patients who donot respond to Ergometrine.
