INDICATIONS: It is used in conditions where inhibition of gastric acid may be beneficial, including aspiration syndromes, dyspepsia, gastro-oesophageal reflux disease, peptic ulcer disease, and the Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.

Omeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor that is used to treat symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease and other conditions caused by excess stomach acid.
