INDICATION Control and symptomatic relief of acute non-specific and chronic diathea associated with inflammatory bowel disease. Also indicated in ileostomy to control/reduce the volume of discharge.
CONTRAINDICATION Hypersensitivity to Loperamide. Not recommended in children below 2 years of age and should not be used as primary therapy in acute dysentery, characterized by blood in stools and high lever Pregnant women and nursing/lactating mothers.
