Description:

Iron ANEMLES is an intravenous (IV) iron solution containing 20 mg of elemental iron per mL (100 mg in 5 mL ampoule). It is supplied as a sterile aqueous solution for injection. This medication is used when oral iron supplements are ineffective, not tolerated, or rapid correction of iron deficiency is required.

Uses:

Iron ANEMLES is used to treat iron deficiency and iron deficiency anemia in patients who need direct iron supplementation:

1. Iron Deficiency Anemia – Restores iron levels and supports red blood cell production.

2. Patients Unable to Take Oral Iron – For those with malabsorption, intolerance, or side effects from oral iron.

3. Rapid Correction of Iron Deficiency – Useful before surgery or in severe anemia cases.

4. Chronic Kidney Disease or Hemodialysis Patients – Provides iron supplementation when oral iron is insufficient.
