Ferrous Sulfate + Folic Acid FEROLITAB 300mg/250mcg Tablets 100’s

FORMULATION: Each tablet contains: Ferrous Sulfate Heptahydrate… 300mg (equivalent to 60 mg of Elemental Iron) Folic Acid BP. 250mcg INDICATION: Used in the prevention and treatment of iron-deficiency anemia; prenatal hematinic.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION: One tablet a day or as prescribed by a physician.

CONTRAINDICATION: Patients with iron-shortage or iron-absorp-tion diseases, hemoglobinopathies, gastroin-testinal

WARNING & PRECAUTIONS: repeated blood Patients receiving transfusion or to patients with anemias not produced by iron deficiency. Oral iron should not be administered with parental iron.

UNDESIRABLE EFFECTS: Gastrointestinal irritation and abdominal pain with nausea, vomiting, diarrhea or constipa-tion.

The feces of patients taking iron salts may be colored black.
