Cefuroxime (Eroxime+) is a prescription-only, injectable second-generation cephalosporin antibiotic used to treat and prevent various bacterial infections.

Used for treatment of infections such as:

• Respiratory tract infections (bronchitis, pneumonia)

• Urinary tract infections (UTI)

• Skin and soft tissue infections

• Bone and joint infections

• Septicemia (blood infection)

• Surgical prophylaxis (to prevent infection during surgery)
