Primary Uses

This medication is used to treat respiratory disorders where excessive, thick, or “sticky” mucus (phlegm) is a problem. Specific uses include:

• Productive (“Chesty”) Cough: Helps loosen phlegm so the child can cough it up more easily.
• Bronchitis & Bronchiolitis: Relieves congestion in the bronchial tubes.
• Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD): Manages long-term mucus production.
• Sinusitis: Helps drain thick mucus from the sinus cavities.
• Otitis Media (Glue Ear): Sometimes used to help thin fluid buildup in the middle ear.

How to Use

1. Shake Well: Always shake the bottle before use to ensure the medicine is evenly mixed.
2. Use the Dropper: Use only the measuring dropper provided with the package to ensure an accurate dose.
3. Timing: It is usually taken 3 to 4 times a day, or as specifically directed by a pediatrician.
