Ascorbic Acid + Zinc IMMUMAX 500mg/10mg Capsule 100’s

INDICATIONS: This medicine is used to prevent and treat scurvy and acidify urine. Ascorbic Acid and Zinc (Immumax) together helps the body to defend from damaging free radicals. Vitamin C stimulates the activity of antibodies and immune cells which inhibits foreign antigens while Zinc is an essential mineral involved in the immune system, wound healing, and DNA synthesis.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION: Take capsule once a day, or, as recommended by a doctor A Adults and Children 12 years and older

CONTRAINDICATIONS: Do not take this medicine if the patient has a hypersensitivity to Ascorbic Acid and Zinc (Immumax). Patient may occur a high amount of oxalic acid in urine.

WARNING & PRECAUTIONS: Consult to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine if: You are elderly Have had a kidney disease or history of kidney stones. You are smoking.

SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS: Seek advice from a doctor before use if the patient is strictly on a sodium diet.

Do not take more than the recommended dose. Stop taking this medicine immediately and consult the doctor if the patient experience stomach cramps, and allergic reactions including itching and rash. Use in Pregnancy & Lactation Consult the doctor before using this product if the patient is pregnant or breastfeeding.

UNDESIRABLE EFFECTS: The most common undesirable effects are nausea, vomiting, stomach discomfort, heartburn, and extreme tiredness. Vitamin C can be tolerated most of the time. However, flushing, difficulty in sleeping, and sleepiness have been reported in high doses of Vitamin C. Elemental Zinc greater than 30mg has gastrointestinal side effects such as nausea and vomiting.
