Inform your doctor or pharmacist about any medications, supplements, or herbal products you are taking. While extreme interactions are not known, caution is advised when taking:
  • Antitussives (cough suppressants): May interfere with Ambroxol’s ability to clear mucus, potentially leading to mucus buildup.
  • Antibiotics (e.g., amoxicillin, cefuroxime): Ambroxol can enhance the absorption of certain antibiotics, improving their effectiveness.
  • Other respiratory medications: Use with caution as combining multiple drugs for respiratory conditions may increase side effects or alter effectiveness.
Always consult a doctor before combining Ambroxol with other medications.
