ACETYPHIL Acetylcysteine 600mg is used for managing respiratory conditions by thinning mucus secretions in chronic bronchopulmonary disorders like chronic bronchitis, emphysema, and cystic fibrosis. It is also indicated as an antidote for acetaminophen overdose to prevent hepatic damage by replenishing glutathione stores.
INDICATIONS: Treatment of respiratory affections characterized by thick and viscous hypersecretions: acute and chronic bronchitis and its exacerbations, pulmonary emphysema, mucoviscidosis and bronchiectasis.
