Lipid Modifying Agent

Indications

Hypertriglyceridemia, Hypercholesterolemia or mixed hyperlipidemia

Dosage

Initially, 200 mg once daily; may increase if necessary to 267 mg once daily. Max: 200 mg once daily (with concomitant statin therapy); 267 mg once daily (if not on concomitant statin therapy).

Administration

Administer with food.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to fenofibrate or fenofibric acid or any component of the formulation. Refer to manufacturer labeling for further detail.

Common side-effects

Nausea, Vomiting, Flatulence, Abdominal pain, Diarrhea

Storage

Store between 15-30°C. Protect from light and moisture.
