DESCRIPTION:
Sitagliptin is an oral antidiabetic medication belonging to the class of DPP-4 (dipeptidyl peptidase-4) inhibitors. It works by increasing incretin hormone levels, which help regulate blood glucose by stimulating insulin release and reducing glucagon levels in the body. XELEVIA 50 mg tablets are film-coated for easy administration and improved patient compliance.

USES:

• Used for the management of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus
• Helps improve blood sugar control when combined with diet and exercise
