DOSAGE: One tablet a day
They are commonly supplemented to prevent anemia and neural tube defects during pregnancy.
INDICATIONS: Prevention and treatment of iron deficiency anemia, prenatal hematinic.
PRECAUTION: It should be given immediately after meals. Ferrous Sulfate and other salts should not be given to patients receiving repeated blood transfusion or patients with anemias produced by iron deficiency.
